Psyc 2015 - Research Methods: Finding Books

Finding Books on Research Methods

Use the Library Catalog to find books on research methods and/or your research topic. Use subject headings such as "psychology methodology" or  "psychology research".  For topics, you'll need to identify books on your topic and take a look at them to determine if they are quantitative/empirical studies.

You can also use the GIL Universal Catalog to find books in all 35 University System of Georgia libraries.  If you find a book in the GIL Universal Catalog you want, use a GIL Express Request to have it sent to our library by courier.

A last place to search is WorldCat.org, which is a universal catalog for most U.S. academic and many more libraries.  It is a great place to find out what books are published on a topic.
