Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)

Consumer Product Safety Commission
Provides a number of resources for product safety. Publications; list of subjects which lead to the complete documents, including many safety alerts.
DOE. Department of Energy Technical Standards Program
DOE established the term "technical standards" to identify the collection of those DOE documents that were being used purely for technical purposes.
Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)
FIPS are standards and guidelines developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for Federal computer systems. The standards are approved by the Secretary of Commerce under the Information Technology Management Reform Act.
